How to Help
Private support though alumni giving is essential to the success of our students and to all of our academic programs. Alumni gifts create opportunities for students where none existed and provide the margin of excellence for outstanding students, faculty and programs.
Your support can make a tremendous difference in the lives of others by providing:
- Scholarships – the College's academic programs have grown faster than our scholarship opportunities. Named scholarships can provide select students with over $1,000 per year to help defray their educational expenses
- Named Professorships – named professorships are used to help retain outstanding faculty by enabling FSU to offer competitive salaries and providing outstanding faculty with funds to attend conferences, support students or support their research.
- Program Support – endowed programs can be created support any of the College’s education, research or service activities such as the Debate Team, Project SPARTA, the Regional Rehabilitation Clinic, the Goldstein Library, the Information Institute, the PALM Center or the Center for Hispanic Marketing
- Annual Fund – Contributions to the Annual Fund are used at the Dean's discretion to provide scholarships, student travel funds, invite scholars to FSU and support academic initiatives.
