The School of Information resides primarily in the Louis Shores Building, with classes taught in HCB and the newly-renovated William Johnston Building as well. Located in Shores is the Goldstein Library, which provides students and faculty with technology, library, and school media resources, along with study and meeting spaces. The College’s Help Desk is located in Shores as well and provides students with IT assistance and access to high-performance workstations and software.
The William Johnston Building holds many state of the art classrooms, including a 3D Media Lab, Health Informatics Lab, Data Center/Server Lab, iSpace Lab, and Teaching Lab. The Teaching Lab contains 48 Dual Boot iMacs and can also exist off FSU’s network for security projects/networking demos.
