While academic grades are very important, they rarely assess qualities like creativity, leadership and teamwork skills, or social, emotional and political intelligence. These important life skills, however, can be obtained through involvement outside of the classroom in student clubs and organizations. The College of Communication and Information encourages you to join a group you are passionate about, whether it be CCI-related (getinvolved.cci.fsu.edu), an intramural sports team (campusrec.fsu.edu), or any of the other 600+ student organizations here at Florida State (https://nolecentral.dsa.fsu.edu/). There is something for everyone and it is never too late!
